A sipe concept optimised with sine-wave sipes in the centre of the pattern and an interrupted tread layer in the shoulder delivers shorter braking distances and increased traction on snow; water evacuation optimised through wide longitudinal and lateral grooves raises aquaplaning safety, and a new silica compound reduces rolling resistance.
